Farmer Boys is bulking up its high-protein offerings with two new fried chicken sandwiches and a breakfast bowl.
Among them is a Cracked Fried Chicken Sandwich that the Riverside-based fast casual chain calls the “upgrade you didn’t know you needed.” It features a chicken breast topped with an easy fried egg, bacon, American Swiss cheese, tomato and mayonnaise served on a brioche bun for 43 grams of protein.
ALSO SEE: High-protein craze is reaching new heights in 2026 There’s also a BBQ Ranch Fried Chicken Sandwich, which calls for extra napkins with barbecue sauce and ranch dressing as well as bacon, American Swiss cheese and onion straws. It features 42 grams of protein.
Farmer Boys is also spotlighting its Farmer’s Classic Fried Chicken Sandwich and Farmer’s Fiery Fried Chicken Sandwich, which were already on the menu. Each has 39 grams of protein.
The sandwiches cost around $11.29 each or $14.99 with fries and a soft drink. The new Hog Heaven Scramble is made with four eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, bell pepper and tomatoes, and served with avocado for a whopping 53 grams of protein.
This is the only breakfast bowl currently on Farmer Boys’ menu. The y were phased out a few years ago when the focus shifted to breakfast burritos.
It offers two burritos and has a new salsa verde to go with them. Farmer Boys is also spotlighting several of its favorites in “Farmstand Fresh & Affordable” boxes.
They include such items as a Big Cheese burger, fries and a small drink for $9.99; a BLT with fries for $10.99, and four-piece chicken strips for $11.99. Customers can add one Zucchini Stick for $1.
Featured drinks on the chain’s website also include strawberry lemonade.
