SF home where landlord allegedly killed tenant up for rent at nearly double the price

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The San Francisco Outer Sunset District home where a landlord allegedly murdered his tenant is now up for rent. Eric Bigone was 58 years old when prosecutors say his landlord shot and killed him outside the home in May. They allege retired dentist Philippe Chagniot first set fire to Bignoe's car, then shot him twice from behind. A judge is blocking any sale while the case plays out, but now Chagniot's family is trying to rent it out for $6,300 a month . Before his murder, Eric Bigone was paying $3,200 a month in rent.
