Teen or not, sea lion kicker should pay for actions

Re “Teen admits in guilty plea to kicking sea lion in La Jolla Cove” ( Aug. 13 ): Tyler Muehl is no teenager. He is an adult. At 18 years old, he became an adult and should be tried as such. The video clearly shows his attack on the sea lion, along with the laughing and comments of his friend — clearly disturbing behavior. He should be fined the maximum.
