“Whether you’re a wine enthusiast, an art collector, a live music fan or simply looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday, the Ramona Art, Wine & Music Festival offers something for everyone,” said Andrea Gibson, the festival’s event chair.
“The move to the Ramona Outdoor Community Center brings a new setting to this longstanding celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and community spirit in Ramona and throughout San Diego County.” Festival attendees can sample offerings from 12 San Diego wineries, two San Diego breweries, a hard cidery and a distillery.
With four music locations throughout the festival, attendees can enjoy live entertainment as they explore the grounds, discover new favorite beverages and take in the festival atmosphere. Musical artists scheduled to perform include The Beard and the Bird, Thea the Band, Michael D.
Goodrich and Dirty Confetti. Art and shopping will be highlights of the event, with 21 talented artists selling their original artwork and 24 artisan vendors showcasing their unique creations.
From original paintings and handcrafted treasures to one-of-a-kind gifts, the festival offers attendees an opportunity to support local artists and small businesses while finding something special to take home.
The festival will also feature both a silent auction and a live auction, adding another exciting element to the day.
Live auction items include two artist-painted half wine barrels by Marie Bravo, one artist-painted full wine barrel by Bob Kopenhefer, a beautifully reimagined display cabinet by Jonathan Martinez, and this year’s winning art contest painting by Terry Truett.
“These distinctive pieces offer a chance to take home something memorable while participating in the festival’s auction activities,” Gibson said.
Live auction items can be viewed in advance at San Vicente Resort, 24157 San Vicente Road; Ramona Family Naturals Market, 325 Sixth St.; and at 2Create Gallery, 438 Main St.
